Hello Product Hunt! 👋
We built this extension because we were tired of "tab-hoarding." I’d find a great 20-minute article or a 40-page PDF, save it for later, and then… never actually read it. I needed a way to get the core insights instantly, without leaving the page.
We designed Article summarizer to be the Swiss Army Knife of reading. Whether it’s a legal contract in a PDF, a messy Google Doc, or a news article in a language you’re still learning, we’ve got you covered.
Why try Article summarizer browser extension?
✅ Versatility: We handle 52 languages and multiple formats (Web, PDF, Docs).
✅ Accessibility: We listened to early testers and added adjustable text sizes - because a summary is only helpful if it’s comfortable to read!
✅ Interactive: Don’t just read the summary; ask the AI questions to dig deeper into the facts.
🚀 What’s next? We are currently refining our YouTube Summarization engine so you can get the "TL;DR" of a 30-minute tutorial in seconds.
I’ll be here all day to answer your questions. I’d love to hear your feedback - especially on which features you’d like to see added to our roadmap next!
Happy reading (but faster)
Hey! Saved like hundreds of articles last year, actually read maybe 10. This would’ve saved me so much guilt haha. Does the “ask questions” feature remember context from the summary, or does it re-read the whole article each time? And any plans for a mobile version?
