Archbro turns complex codebases into living architecture that humans and AI can understand and act on. Explore project purpose, components, interactions, journeys, code evidence, and related tasks in one workspace. Collaborate through Owner, Editor, and Viewer roles, enforce task prerequisites, and review architecture proposals before they become the team's accepted version. This release was built and refined with GPT‑6 Astra.
What became possible in your product with Astra that was not practical before?

Before Astra, Archbro could visualize architecture, but turning it into a secure workflow around real repositories was not practical for our small team.
With Astra, we built a purpose-first workspace where teams understand goals, components, interactions and journeys; move from architecture to dependency-aware tasks; collaborate as Owners, Editors and Viewers; and require human review before proposals become the accepted version.
We also integrated user-scoped GitHub WebMCP to read private repositories, discover and select branches, pin evidence to exact commits, publish Code separately from Living Architecture, and preserve historical evidence when the same repository switches branches. Astra also helped us complete registration, account and email security, improve repository reading and accessibility, and harden deployment identity, rollback, proxy integrity and Firebase reliability.
The result is governed project context for humans and AI—not just faster coding.

Hi Product Hunt 👋
AI can write code faster than ever, but teams still struggle with three questions: How does the whole system work? What should change next? Who decides when an AI-proposed change becomes the shared architecture?
We built Archbro to turn project context and code evidence into living architecture that humans and AI can understand together.
With this release, you can:
• start from project purpose and system journeys
• inspect components, interactions, ownership, and code evidence
• move directly from architecture to related tasks
• collaborate through Owner, Editor, and Viewer roles
• review important proposals before accepting a new architecture version
This is a major upgrade to the existing Archbro product. We used GPT‑6 Astra throughout implementation, testing, debugging, and repeated product refinement. We set the product direction, challenged unclear results, and reviewed the important changes.
Archbro is free to try. We’d especially value feedback from engineers, technical leads, and teams working with coding agents:
When you open a codebase you didn’t build, what would help you understand it fastest?
Thanks for taking a look 🙌
