Arcadium is purpose built for architecture - Sketchup isn't. This matters for basic objects like doors - you have to draw these in Sketchup and cut holes in walls - Arcadium they snap into place and just work - you can stretch them and move them and they auto resize automatically. And unlike the more complex and more expensive Revit, Autocad - the UI is far simpler to learn and understand. Arcadium is also a modern product so have a bunch of AI built in - eg photo to 3D model creation and AI rendering of views.
I have used other softwares for year as an architectural designer .. this was actually really good .. simple and I have used it to model and brainstorm residential designs and extensions. Even interiors.... Very handy. My 13 year old kid used it too for a school project and it came out looking professional. Say loads... More please...

Just tried it out and it's so easy to use! π
It's funny how my wife like 2 months ago proposed to build this together.
@deffroΒ it's definitely needed! I don't know if you wrestled with Sketchup or another tool but it was a real pain.
I used Sketchup, but I want to erase it from my memory haha
