When I write, the idea never arrives finished. It develops through conversation, through arguing with myself, through a lot of false starts before the real point shows up. I get stuck because the thought hasn't been pulled out of my head yet. Most AI writing tools skip that part entirely. You type a prompt, they hand back something fluent and hollow that sounds like everyone and no one. That's the opposite of what I wanted. So Appareo does the boring, human part. It interviews you — six to eight questions a curious friend would ask over coffee — to draw the substance out. It studies a sample of your past writing to learn your actual voice, not a template. Then it drafts from your answers, in your words, and lets you push it straight to Medium or Substack. It's live and free right now. I'm self-funded, this is my first launch, and I genuinely just want people to use it and tell me where it falls down.
