Most planners do one thing well and leave you opening five more apps to get through a normal day. Apical puts tasks and calendar events on one timeline, so it can warn you before you double-book yourself. Around that: notes you can type or handwrite, mail from Gmail, Outlook and iCloud in a single inbox, a grocery list that reminds you when you are near the shop instead of at 9am, and your Apple Health numbers sitting beside the schedule they affect. iPhone, iPad, and any browser.

Hi Product Hunt.
I built Apical because I double-booked myself. My to-do list said one thing, my calendar said another, and neither had any idea the other existed. I found out at four in the afternoon.
That is the core of it: tasks and events sit on one timeline, so the app can tell you the day is already full before you agree to something else.
The rest grew out of the same annoyance. I was opening six apps to get through one ordinary day, so: notes you can type or handwrite, mail from Gmail, Outlook and iCloud in a single inbox, a grocery list that reminds you when you are near the shop instead of at 9am, and Apple Health numbers sitting beside the schedule that affects them.
It has been live since August. The thing that has not worked is discovery. Almost nobody finds it, which is part of why I am here.
Honest gaps: Android exists but is not on Play yet, and there is no native desktop build, so a laptop means the browser version.
I would genuinely rather hear what annoys you than what you like. Happy to answer anything about the build, the stack, or the numbers.
