Technically, key parts of this project include advanced OCR and text postprocessing, like working with semantic chunking and resolving long distance coreferences, as well as formulating claims and semantic pieces of text into formats that LLMs can respond accurately with. I have based this upon Revision.ai, the AI flashcard generator, and it uses the same underlying engine, but with enhancements and search techniques to verify the AI answers - something I found critically missing in current LLM implementations. The problem with recent tools that use Google/Duckduckgo, is that they don't have access to your internal files/videos - this changes that, as you can build a persistent library. With this project, I hope to make the life of answering repeated or tricky questions easy for those with vast documents: be it in education or on the customer support frontline, this tool can eloquently save you time. With this project, I hope to appeal to the artist within you: Ask question about entertainment, youtube, song lyrics and more, with a powerful instruct model (that works when ChatGPT is down) behind the scenes. With this project, I want to gather evidence that using AI with the text of supporting and verified original content, is the way of the future for useful, applied systems.
