This book has shaped my worldview and overall approach to life more than any other book. The key to understanding Antifragile is that there are two ways to protect a complex system: 1) You could try to harden the system and prevent predicted problems from occurring, or 2) You could build your system such that you expect problems to occur and you will build those into the system so that instead of having catastrophic failure sneak up on you, you have lots of small failures occur which you can learn from. The world needs this book more and more every day as our interconnected systems grow ever more dependent on each other.
