Most feeds keep you scrolling — filled with algorithmic junk, drug-like short videos, and endless echo chambers. Ancher, instead, keeps you growing. It helps you anchor what matters — learning your intent, filtering the noise, and delivering insights that help you think and act. In Do Mode, explore both sides of a story, see how people react, turn articles into your own post, or let Ancher watch it for you — alerting you when a real breakthrough lands.
This is the 2nd launch from Ancher. View more

Ancher 2.0
Launching today
Ancher is an AI knowledge workspace that turns everything you read, watch, and save into work you can actually use. Capture articles, videos, PDFs, posts, and ideas without organizing folders. Ancher connects related knowledge, lets you search and ask questions across your sources, and helps turn what you've learned into research briefs, reports, presentations, and content in your own voice. Your saved knowledge becomes more useful every time you add to it.

Launch Team

The smarter your agent gets, the more your inputs matter.
I'm Vincent, co-founder of Ancher. I spent 15 years in media—at HuffPost, Yahoo News, and NewsBreak—helping algorithms decide what people should see. Now I'm helping people—and their agents—get back to what was worth keeping.
Because that's where things get interesting. We can all use the same models. But we haven't read the same things, noticed the same details, or connected the same ideas. The work starts becoming yours before you ever write a prompt.
A line in an X post. Thirty seconds in a YouTube video. An argument in a podcast that changes how you think. That's raw material for your next piece of work. And most of it never makes it into the chat window.
We keep upgrading the intelligence. Then we make people copy and paste its inputs.
We call it an Agentic Dropbox. Dropbox made your files available wherever you worked. We're building Ancher to make what you save usable wherever your agents work.
Save a post, video, podcast, article, or a thought before it slips away. Later, you don't need the title, the URL, or the exact words. “What did I save about...?” should be enough. Find the exact sentence or video moment, with the source. Then put it to work in ChatGPT or Claude—or use Ancher's agent to turn it into a post, report, or presentation.
That whole journey—from something catching your attention to an agent actually using it—is what we're building infrastructure for.
A saved link is a starting point. Your agent needs the content inside it, the relevant part, and a way back to the source. That's what makes your collection useful at the moment you're trying to do something.
Our bet is simple: better agents make this layer more valuable. Every improvement in what an agent can do gives you another way to use what you've already collected.
Your agent will change. Everything you've learned shouldn't have to start over.
That's Ancher 2.0. The magic starts BEFORE THE PROMPT.
Great in, great out.
Try it with something you only half remember. Tell us what it finds—and where it falls short. We're here.
@vincentwu800 Couldn’t agree more. The better AI gets, the more valuable our own context becomes.
Models are shared. What we’ve read, watched, noticed, and learned isn’t.
That’s the layer we’re building with Ancher. Proud to be part of this journey! 🚀
Where does Ancher stand in relation to Notion, Readwise, and Obsidian? Is there an option for me to import my notes?
Btw, Congratulations @vincentwu800 , @ula6 and team Ancher 2.0 🚀🎊
@ula6 @aymi_malik We focus on capturing the things that are highly valuable to you, but very easy to slip away - like 20s in a youtube video, a X post, a paragraph in a podcast, one sentence in a long article - the things that resonated with you, but you typically couldn't find it after a week.
@aymi_malik Thanks Muhammad! Great question. We see Ancher as a bit different from Notion or Obsidian - it’s less about manually organizing notes and more about turning everything you read, watch, and save into knowledge you can search, connect, and create with.
We don’t support one-click Notion import yet, but it’s definitely something we’re looking at. Making it easy to bring your existing knowledge into Ancher is important to us. Thanks for bringing it up - and really appreciate the support! 🙌
The hardest part of these systems is adding content . I spend every morning reading through Linkedin, X, Hacker News, Product Hunt, and bookmarked items I want to read later but every system makes it difficult to import those bookmarks.
@jay_janarthanan1 Totally agree, Jay. If capturing something takes too much effort, the whole system breaks down. Making capture as frictionless as possible is a big focus for us at Ancher. And seamless import of existing bookmarks is definitely something we’re thinking about. Thanks for calling this out!
This is amazing I was facing a similar problem and was about to build it myself. Just a quick question, is there any feature present/planned that will let me export all my saved content
@samridh_anand Great feedback! If you mean exporting all saved content on Ancher to your hard disk or other places, yes, that's on our roadmap and will be there soon.
If you mean importing your content from elsewhere (like X) in bulk to Ancher, we do support x.com now and will be adding other platforms shortly.
Thanks!
@samridh_anand Thanks Samridh! 🙌 Yes, exporting your saved content is on our roadmap. We believe your knowledge should always be yours and portable. Would love to hear what export format would work best for you!
I’m incredibly excited to finally share Ancher with the Product Hunt community today.
We built Ancher around a simple frustration: we save more useful information than ever - articles, videos, PDFs, posts, notes, ideas — but most of it gets buried and rarely becomes useful again.
With Ancher, we want to change that. Instead of just giving you another place to store things, Ancher connects what you save, helps you search and ask questions across your knowledge, and most importantly, turns it into something new - research, reports, presentations, content, and ideas in your own voice.
For me, that’s what makes Ancher exciting: Save → Recall → Create.
Your knowledge shouldn’t just sit in a folder. It should keep working for you.
We’re still early and learning fast, so I’d really love to hear how you use Ancher, what works, what doesn’t, and what you’d like us to build next.
Thanks for checking us out and supporting our launch! 🚀
Natural search ftw! Cross-device syncing, too. Nice.
Can't get over how the AI voice in the video kept saying "An-cher" 😅
@justlewitt Haha, now we can’t unhear “An-cher” either 😅 Glad you liked the search and syncing! We’ll have a word with our AI narrator 😂
@justlewitt haha! A lot of people say it too. But Anna Ancher is the Danish painter we wanted to honor with the product. And the pronounciation is indeed "An-cher", not "Anchor". :)
@vincentwu800 Complaint retracted, and I learned something new :) And now I like the name even more! Did you make the decision still knowing people would intuitively think the name was supposed to be like "anchor" (eg anchoring information in place)?
@justlewitt You got the point! Yes, initially, I thought about using "Ancher" because I believe we need "Anchor" - in fact, everyone needs a few anchors in their life to focus, to start with something, to have a center of information clustering. Then I remembered I once viewed Anna Ancher's paintings somewhere. And we made the decision.
In fact, our very picky designer indeed incorporated Anna's color schemes into our main ancher.ai design. You can feel the orange there...
@vincentwu800 LOVE that. The site background is beautiful. Kinda Dia-esque. Always appreciate the use of art (and especially physical mediums) in tech branding. Need more of that.
@vincentwu800 Just looked her up, really beautiful work. Thanks for introducing me to another great artist :)
@vincentwu800 @justlewitt Ancher helping people discover knowledge in unexpected ways already 😄
Vincent, finding the exact moment in a saved video with the source attached caught my eye. Much easier to bring something back into your work when you can get straight to the relevant bit. Congrats!
@oleksii_sekundant Thanks Oleksii! That’s exactly what we were aiming for — not just saving content, but making it easy to get back to the exact piece you need, with the source and context intact. Glad it caught your eye! 🙌
@oleksii_sekundant appreciate the feedback! yes, that's the pain point I experienced myself. And we want everything you saw - even just 10s in a video - can be brought back easily when yiou need it!
