I've watched friends and colleagues struggle with language barriers in three specific areas: business meetings where real-time translation could close deals, travelers feeling lost in foreign countries, and learners who couldn't find affordable, practical ways to practice speaking. Most translation apps focus on just one thing - text translation or voice or documents. But real life requires all of them, often in the same day. You might translate a document in the morning, join a multilingual meeting at noon, then navigate a foreign city in the evening. The core problem is fragmentation. Existing solutions either: Handle text well but fail at live conversation Translate voice but ignore documents Work offline but lack tourism features Cost hundreds per month for business features I wanted one app that does everything: text, voice, live dialogue, meeting translation, document translation across 100+ languages at a fraction of the cost of enterprise alternatives. Initially, I focused only on professional translation (text + documents). But early users kept asking for two things: "Can this work during live meetings?" "Can you add a tour guide mode for travelers?" That feedback led to building live conversation translation and Tourism Search — which became two of our most loved features. The Language Learn section came later, when users said they wanted to practice speaking without judgment before real conversations. What started as a translation tool evolved into a complete language ecosystem: translate, learn, and explore the world without barriers.
