As AI becomes part of almost every product, I've realized that tracking AI API costs is much harder than I expected.
Most of us monitor uptime, errors, and performance but when it comes to AI spending, many developers only discover the real cost when the monthly invoice arrives.
While building AICostPass, I kept asking myself:
How are developers tracking OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or Groq costs today?
Are you relying on provider dashboards?
Do you use spreadsheets, cloud budget alerts, or another tool?
Have you ever been surprised by an AI API bill?
honestly looks super useful, especially for anyone juggling multiple AI providers. one thing that would be nice is a Slack or Discord alert option alongside the email threshold notifications since most teams live in those apps anyway and would catch the warnings way faster.
@gzde1139457 Thanks so much! Love this idea. Slack and Discord alerts are definitely on the roadmap—they'd make budget notifications much more actionable for teams. Thanks for the suggestion!
finally something that tracks my openai and anthropic usage in one place, the email alerts when I hit a threshold are honestly super helpful. been looking for this kind of thing for a while
@batuhan6ual Thank you so much! That was exactly the goal—bringing all your AI usage into one place and warning you before the invoice arrives. Really glad you're finding it useful!
