Hey, I’m part of the AIComics team. If you’ve tried it, I’d love to hear about one moment where the result didn’t match what you had in mind.
What were you trying to make, and what felt off? A specific example would be really helpful.
@xiaomouz A big one for us: when a scene involved violence or gore (which happens a lot in my stories「The Ghost Slayer: Chronicles of Zhong Kui」), the image model would flag it as sensitive and the page would fail to generate.
So we added AI Polish. With one click, it rewrites the prompt and the scene: instead of showing the gore directly, it leans on what comics do best, like off-panel moments, implication and leaving things to the reader's imagination. The page generates successfully, and the story still lands.

We built AIComics for people who have a story they want to turn into a comic, but need help bringing it to the page.
You can write or paste your story, and AIComics helps turn it into a chapter script, design the cast, and generate comic pages with panels, speech bubbles, and sound effects. You can then edit the dialogue and regenerate individual panels to get closer to what you imagined.
We'd love to hear what works for you and what still needs improvement, especially around character consistency and editing.
Tried out a few features. Cool product concept! However, I had trouble getting the characters to match the cartoon designs I had in mind. It didn't quite capture the reference image I provided, which would be an awesome feature to have. Also, when a generation fails, the credits don't seem to automatically refund to my account. Performance-wise, only Gemini gave me decent results. Hope to see more improvements down the road

@j_jack1 I'll go first! 😄 The first thing I made was a Chinese folk tale: Zhong Kui, the ghost-catching judge. I pasted the story in, designed him and his sidekick Fu Qu once, and the whole battle chapter came out with them looking the same in every panel. That moment sold me on the idea.
