We wanted to see what happens if we put AIs into one of humanity's oldest interactions: haggling. The AIs are actually in charge of the prices (no hardcoded limits), so you can try to haggle them down as low as you want. Given that language models are notoriously bad at math, this may be a terrible business strategy, but hopefully a pretty fun time.

I played with it for over an hour, and it was great. Having been on the selling end of haggling, I loved seeing so many of the sales pitches I have used in the field. I did have a bit of a hard time getting it to understand that paying over the face value of the one gift card was not going to happen, but I did get it down to 0.60 over the cost. There is some great humour in this app as well. Very well done!

I don't think that this is very practical, it showed me an item that was out of season that I commonly see on Amazon for around $40 and it was asking over 230 it got down to 187 and wouldn't go any lower. I don't see the practicality.
