AgentKit

Hi there👋 I built AgentKit because I was tired of rebuilding the same 80% every time I wanted to ship an AI agent. Auth, chat UI, persistence, tool wiring, streaming… None of that is interesting but without it, agents never make it to production. AgentKit is my attempt to package the boring but essential parts into a single, open-source starter so developers can focus on what actually matters: the agent logic. What it solves: • No more stitching auth + DB + chat from scratch • Real chat persistence (not demo-only sessions) • Tool calling with visible sources (web search) • A clean UI that’s ready to ship, not redesign How it evolved: I originally started with just a chat demo. As I kept building agents for real use cases, I kept adding the same things over and over until it became clear this should be a reusable foundation. This is the base I wish I had months ago.
