AfterWurk is a private, company-branded platform where employees at companies with 1,000+ employees can discover and join casual after-work activities, frisbee golf, trivia nights, board games, hikes, virtual hangouts. Most culture initiatives fail because they're top-down and forced. AfterWurk flips that, Employees self-organize activities they actually want to do, on their own time, voluntarily.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm Dylan, founder of AfterWurk.
I built this after noticing something that bothered me — companies spend millions on culture initiatives and employees still go home strangers. Not because they don't want to connect, but because there's never been a simple, organic way to do it.
The existing solutions are all top-down and HR-driven. Town halls, mandatory team lunches, expensive offsites. None of it creates real connection because none of it is voluntary.
AfterWurk is different. Employees post activities they actually want to do. Coworkers join because they genuinely want to. HR stays in control through a full admin dashboard. And the whole thing runs itself.
I built it with zero technical background, around a day job, in a few months. It's live right now at www.afterwurk.com.
Would love your honest feedback — especially from anyone in HR or People Ops. What would make this a no-brainer for your company?

Really like how it's all employee-led instead of forced by HR. Tried it with a few coworkers and we ended up at a trivia night none of us would've found otherwise.

finally something that doesn't feel like mandatory fun, love that coworkers can just toss up a trivia night or hike and people join if they actually want to
