I'm Abdur'Rahman Liwanda, the founder of AfriTongues — and I want to tell you why I built this.
There are over 2,000 languages spoken across Africa. And for the most part documentation of these languages is at a minimal.
That's the problem AfriTongues tries to solve.
We're starting with five languages — Chichewa, Chiyawo, Ellomwe, Chitumbuka, and isiZulu — with interactive lessons built for both complete beginners and heritage speakers. And this is just the beginning. There are dozens more languages we want to bring online.
