Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m so excited to finally share Aether with you all!
The story:
I used to work as a UX researcher at Google and love the iPad, but I got deeply frustrated that I couldn't do any real UI/UX work on it. Web apps on Safari are clunky, and I wanted something native. So I spent my nights building Aether.
It’s a full-featured design tool running on a 120fps canvas on the iPad that lets you control everything from the basics like fills, strokes, and text styles to heavy hitters like Auto Layout, boolean ops, and deep component nesting. It includes a native Figma import that keeps layers intact, an export pipeline (PNG/SVG/PDF), and touch-native paradigms like context menus and our "Magic Pill" hierarchy navigation built specifically for fingers and the Apple Pencil.
I’m looking for honest feedback to make it better. What feels clunky? What's missing that keeps you on your laptop? To make it easy to test, use the promo code in the app for 3 months free. Let me know what you think!
Best, Jonas

Finally tried Aether on my iPad and the 120fps canvas actually feels as smooth as advertised. The Magic Pill layer navigation is a small touch that made jumping between nested groups way less painful than I expected.

@pek4yco Thank you so much for testing! Let me know if there is a feature missing or you encounter some problems with the UI concept!
