We launch Advizory on Product Hunt on Oct 8. Quick backstory: the most fun thing on anyone's phone is a group chat. So we asked what happens when the group is Steven Jobsian, a 19th-century scientist, and someone who should absolutely not be giving advice.
The part we're proudest of: they don't just answer you, they talk to each other. They agree, roast each other, go quiet. Ask something serious and they get serious. Ask about pineapple on pizza and it's chaos.
Free on iOS, Android and advizory.app.
One question while we wait: what's the first thing you'd throw at a cast like that?
Hey Product Hunt š
Every AI chat app gives you one bot and a text box. We wanted the opposite: a group chat full of characters who interrupt each other, agree, disagree, send one-word replies, and go off on tangents. Like a group chat, except the members are a visionary founder, a mad scientist, a Roman emperor, and whoever else you invite.
What makes it different:
⢠They talk to each other, not just to you. Replies come in bursts, people react to old messages, and sometimes someone just stays quiet.
⢠No modes. Ask about your breakup, your startup or pineapple on pizza. The tone follows the question.
⢠Build your own character. Describe someone ("a 19th-century physicist crossed with a stand-up comic") and we research and build them.
⢠Pull anyone aside for a 1:1, or invite a friend into the room.
It's live on iOS, Android and web. We'd love to hear which cast you put together and the funniest exchange you got. Screenshots welcome š
I'm Dor, one of the builders š I worked mostly on the engine that decides who talks next and, harder, when a character should stay quiet. Getting them to *not* reply to everything was the trick that made it feel like a real group chat. I'm here all day, ask me anything (or tell me which cast you'd throw together first).
