There is a feature by Facebook named as "Info and Ads" which does the same by providing users the active ads that brands are running but it requires manual activity by going to competitor's page. However this looks promising as the alerts are emailed, I hope it is custom totally ?

Hi guys, nice tool - will check it out for a few different projects. In your opinion, what is the most strategical response to these notifications or is the main purpose to provide awareness? I guess there are lots of possibilities depending on the context of the ad. But i just wondered if you had any interesting examples.

@ant_musker Hi Ant! Thanks so much for the great question 🙌 As you said, one of the main purposes is awareness. You can never have too much knowledge! Especially about what your competitors are up to 😉 But it’s also a great way to measure your own place in your market. Seeing the ads your competition is promoting can give you an idea of the kinds of people they’re targeting, what they think is important enough to spend money to advertise, and any advancements they’re making! Once you’ve got that info, you can compare it with your own actions and see - ‘Are we competing for the same audience? Are we currently promoting similar services? Are we advancing at the same pace?’ etc. Or that's what we use it for, at least 😊 And since you get the email as soon as the ad is launched, you’re always up to date. Hope that answers your question!
