Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Kakugo because I've tried basically every Pomodoro app out there and none of them made me want to open them. They're all timers with a coat of paint. I wanted something with actual stakes — where finishing a focus session felt like progress in a game, not just a checkbox. So Kakugo is built around five warrior classes (Samurai, Ninja, Zen Monk, Ronin, Onmyoji), each with its own stats and perks, and every session you complete earns Ki and Ryō that level up your character and fill out daily/weekly duty boards. Love the feudal Japan twist on Pomodoro, the class system actually makes me want to stick with a focus session instead of skipping the timer. One thing that would lock me in even more is letting you unlock new abilities or stances for your chosen class after hitting certain milestones, so the RPG loop keeps opening up as you keep showing up.

I have planon unlocking new abilities for the upcoming updates :). Testing will take some time, as we introduce more features, also need to balance out all the classes.
