Hey Product Hunt peeps! 👋 This game started as a challenge that then evolved into an app idea. I wanted to build a digital version of a classic sliding puzzle, you know 15 tiles out of 16 to slide into the correct place, very 80s/90s — but a much modern version of it, one that can feel more personal and fun. 9 Tiles Puzzle can use random pics, your own photos or whatever you snap around you (there is also a classic version where you play the original game) and once its sliced and mixed up its ready for you to put back together. The other thing I wanted to fix: most puzzle apps give you exactly one way to play. This one gives you seven (for now) — Slide (the classic), Swap, Time Trial - that can be made a lot harder with a 10-stage Gauntlet Ladder, Limited Moves, Zen (no timer, no pressure), Haze (fog covers the board — shake to peek), and Chaos (where random effects get applied to pic). Beyond that: a seeded Daily Challenge with a streak calendar, 39 achievements, a physics-based Wall of Fame, and Lock Screen activities, widgets and Live Activity to track a puzzle in progress without opening the app. Would love for you to try it and tell me what's confusing, what's missing, and which mode you gravitate to.
