@lauren_clarkio Thanks Lauren, much appreciated! More and more companies are definitely coming, I'm seeing more every week p.s. for UK roles you could check out Atom Bank, they are on a hiring spree atm, alternatively there are lots of companies which are hiring 100% remote worldwide 🥳

Glad I stumbled upon this! I've found that trying to negotiate a 4 day week in a 5 day culture is painful and awkward - especially as a product manager where you're expected to be constantly present.

@philostar not company-wide - I believe currently it's just the development team that works on a 4 day schedule with ~10 hr days (not atypical hours even for some 5-day teams) We do a Friday rotation (for support purposes), so each person works a Friday once every 6 weeks or so, but that person can work shorter days to balance out.

Nice work, Phil! Work/life balance is such an important mega-trend right now, with lots of companies competing on that front to get the best talent. I won't be surprised if 4 day workweeks become a standard perk to go along with remote work and unlimited PTO.
