Yati is a serious stress-relief game that replaces passive meditation with interactive 1–2 minute sessions that create instant calm using avatar embodiment. Players embody their in-game avatar and begin to mirror its physiological and emotional states — when the avatar relaxes, the player relaxes; when the avatar becomes sleepy, the player may begin to feel sleepy as well.

I'm Vijay Kartick, the founder of Jayka Studios and the creator of Yati.
Yati was created to solve a problem I’ve been dealing with for some time now—chronic anxiety and stress.
When I get stressed, especially after a difficult conversation or when I’m dreading something, I become even more stressed that the anxiety isn’t going away. It becomes a vicious cycle. Sitting down to meditate is the last thing on my mind. Listening to ambient music helps, but it takes a long time.
I wanted to create something more active—something that works faster and feels instantly rewarding.
The idea is that if we integrate wellness behaviors and actions as core mechanics of a serious game—utilizing the dopamine triggers commonly used in games—we can bridge the intention–behavior gap by reducing the need for high self-motivation.
If you have any feature suggestions or ideas for improvement, please comment below. And if you know someone who may be struggling with anxiety, please tell them to try it out.
I’m also looking for funding, so if you’re interested in joining me on this journey, please message me at business@jaykastudios.com.
