Well done on bridging the gap between dense knowledge and curious kids! Are there any plans to expand the age range or add more interactive features in the future?

@hi_caicai Yes, there are plans on expanding the query setting by several properties, could be also length of the text, could be also opening a new chat window that allows you to talk to a bot that can answer specific questions about the topic you have searched for. Could be custom age input instead of combobox with fixed values. It depends on what users like you need and tell me.
As a teacher, I’ve never clicked ‘launch’ faster—finally, a bridge between curious kids and dense knowledge. The multilingual support? Cherry on top.

How is this different/ more useful than simply asking ChatGPT to explain something for a 5 year old?

@christopher_dean chatGPT may halucinate some facts. The information source of Vikitorek is wikipedia and not a trained LLM. Also, you would have to build the prompt everytime and we plan to add some features that are specific for the usecase that you won't find in chatGPT.
