Mac menu bar app that @torrez really needed to take notes

Tyke is a tiny app that lives in your Mac menu bar. Its your scratch piece of paper when you need to write something down.

Nothing special. Unclutter works and does more than tyke do with just a gesture.

unclutter app is note taking, clipboard and project folders features at the same interface. It's easy, it's fast, flawless and yet not a menu bar app in case you dont want more menu bar icons (bartender to handle that)

    It just works.

    It can't get any better.

I'm glad this is born out of necessity and I can see why such a simple thing can make a difference in your productivity.

I wish I had this earlier, thanks for making it @torrez 🙌

    Simple and effective.

    None...its great!

Love the simplicity of this little note app! Sometimes you just want to jot something down without opening a text editor.

Would love to see a keyboard shortcut for even quicker notes without leaving the keyboard.

Copypasta heaven! If you are always copying, cuttng, and pasting text... this is for you! So simple, no need for multiple .txt's ever again!

    Cons? What cons?

I used to have to open friggin' TextEditor every timeI had to paste bits of my writing (I know, I'm weird, I use .txt files for writing projects), and having 10 "untitled" files on hand was getting tiresome. THIS WILL FIX THE THINGS.

I have been using this for a few weeks now. It is so handy for little notes and copy/pasting between items.

The info is not persistent after a restart

I am coordinating activities after the earthquakes in Mexico and this little guy is saving my life. Thank you!

Simple and effective for notes you need.

    None yet

Just used it for a phone call today. It's plain, simple and it works :) I don't see a need for more functionalities at the moment. This is a keeper.

So simple! Like stickies but I don't have to recall it.

I need more time with it. Will re-review in a week.

It's a simple, neat, little app to type down something.

No formatting options but not a big deal!

I would usually open up Pages or Sublime Text! Now it's much more easier!
