Hello
“This was Louise’s phone" is a project that aims to create awareness around cyber bullying through a 360° experience. The website is built around the phone of Louise, who was a teenage girl that committed suicide in 2014 because she was bullied non stop on social media.
A physical installation was created consisting of 600 balloons representing the
speech bubbles we know from messaging apps. Each balloon showed a hateful message Louise received with at the center of the installation her phone.
On the website people can walk around the installation and experience the massive amount of hate speech Louise had to endure, while being guided by the real voice of Louise’s father.
Originally the site was made in french since it was for the Belgian market but we decided to translate the website in english as well since cyber bullying is a global issue. https://www.letelephonedelouise.com
