Hi, I’m Mick, the solo maker behind Terrava—a living atlas of power, place, and time.
Explore 5,000+ years of changing borders, kingdoms, and empires on a 3D globe. Follow historical journeys, discover illustrated history and cultural constellations, or explore a live solar system positioned using astronomical calculations.
Ancient Mari is our first living environment: a painted illustration brought into 3D, moving from canal to city street to temple terrace, with movement and sound (more to come). Try The First States journey and stop in Mari.
GPT‑6 Astra substantially expanded what I could build. Terrava was already a partial historical atlas. Astra in Codex helped me adopt a custom Three.js globe, improve territories and journeys, develop the sky, and introduce illustrations and the Blender-based Mari environment. I direct the product, design, and historical interpretation, with sources available throughout. Terrava also supports AI agents through WebMCP.
