Thank you @fmerian for the hunt! A year ago I launched Remote Rocketship, a job board for remote jobs. This new launch of Tech Jobs NYC brings the same great concept but specifically focused on jobs in New York (for all types of jobs: in-office, hybrid, and remote). Basically, the idea started when my wife was frustrated in her job search – she wasn't finding enough open positions. It turns out that this is because companies need to pay to post their jobs on most job boards, and so this meant she wasn't finding job openings if the companies didn't want to pay. To solve this, I built a scraper which checks company websites daily for new job openings. The result is thousands of more job openings than most other job boards! I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback on how I can make this even more helpful for people looking for jobs ❤️
