If you've ever built a website or an app with an active user base (I had 30 lol) you’ve probably realized that there is no good way to reach out to them. Emails are frequently ignored and have low response rates. Feedback forms lack flexibility and can be cumbersome to implement. Building communities on platforms like Discord or Slack requires time and effort. So, I thought, why not bring something like a Discord server right into a website or app? Something easy to integrate that instantly connects you with your entire user base. This tool would let you send real-time messages, polls, and feedback forms, notifying users when they're active on your platform. And, importantly, users can interact with these messages, whether by voting, commenting, or submitting forms. And that’s how Taku was born: https://taku.cool If you're facing this communication gap, give Taku a try! We're offering a 3-month, 50% off discount with the promo code 'TAKUHUNT.' And don't worry about installation; we're here to assist you with integrating our widget seamlessly into your product.

Ahh this is pretty cool. But users come to your site to get info on what they need tho, so not sure if they come to actually help you. What are your findings on this?
Abylay Keldibek
@sentry_co Hey André, well most of the users are trying to solve their problem. But there is always percent of the audience that are hardcore fans and actually interested in making a product better. Even people who are not interested will interact with announcements if it relates to their problem
André J
@abylay_keldibek Good point! I love it, its so hard to get feedback!
Abylay Keldibek
@sentry_co Yeah, it shouldn't be this hard
Dora
In the era of stories, this is a very cool and familiar way for most customers to interact!
Abylay Keldibek
@darya98 Hey Dora, yeah we belive products need to interact with their users as bloggers do with their audience

💡 Bright idea
Interesting idea. I think it can be used not only for startups, but for products catalogues, for factories, for designers, for the website builders, for interior designers. Everywhere if site owners need a feedback
Abylay Keldibek
@anna_kasumova True to that 😄 I can see how some e-commerce can announce their best selling product or sales

@abylay_keldibek I am going to the supermarket now to buy vine and cheese! I got the badge ahah. I didn't even expect. How do I like badges! Lucky girl! :)
Abylay Keldibek
Haha, well that was actually a good proposal

A great widget for interacting with visitors. Kudos for the launch
Abylay Keldibek
@millman Hey Louis, thank you! Yeah, we want to make interaction with users as easy as possible. 🤫 We also working on better feedback management but it's for the next launch (https://www.taku.cool/feedback )

I really appreciate the tools that help with getting feedback from users as I believe it is a key to growth, success and getting better. Congratulations on the launch! :)
Abylay Keldibek
@sandradjajic Hey Sandra, thank you for the support! While Taku is mostly for reaching out to users yeah it also helps with getting feedback. But we're building another product to specifically manage feedback https://www.taku.cool/feedback (it's now in beta). It will be tightly connected with announcements as well.

this is absolutely useful and needed - it also looks cool - but: how is it different from the many platform it already exists? also, an idea for future features: the best thing would be to be able to share updates in specific channel, Slack, Discord, LinkedIn, with a different type of communication. So adapt the update based on where the user hangs out and what they expect
Abylay Keldibek
@fok96 Hey Alexandros, this is actually on our roadmap. Our first channel would be emails but then yeah we would add more channels. What channel you would want to see the most?
Abylay Keldibek
@fok96 Most of the platforms support only one-way communication, meaning only products can share updates. We want to make Taku the best 2-way communication channel. Users should also be able to share their needs and problems with a product.
Alexandros Fokianos
@abylay_keldibek for sure Slack (for internal updates and communities) and Notion
