What do you think? …

Sebastian Thunman

Hi everyone! I'm beyond excited to finally share this with you. We've been in pre-beta for months with tens of thousands on the waitlist, but today we're launching our beta!

We built Strawberry because while developers got Cursor to revolutionize coding, everyone else was still stuck doing grunt work in their legacy browsers!

What it is:

Strawberry is a self-driving browser where you build your own team of AI agents that surf the web for you - we call them companions. It's the easiest way to build agents, right where you already work. Tell your companion to find 100 qualified leads, research each company, extract contact info, enrich a spreadsheet, and draft personalized emails - then watch it execute the entire workflow in your tabs while you grab coffee.

What makes us different:

This isn't a chatbot or Chrome extension. It's a full browser where AI can navigate websites, click buttons, fill forms, and complete multi-step workflows autonomously.

Unlike other AI browsers that are limited to simple web search functionality and basic agentic capabilities, Strawberry gives you the most powerful agentic capabilities out of the box.

Think of Strawberry as a mix of Manus AI's power and Arc browser's beauty and presentation.

Perfect for:

Sales teams doing prospecting and outreach, recruiters sourcing candidates, researchers compiling data, marketers analyzing competitors, freelancers doing busy work - anyone spending hours on repetitive web tasks.

How to get access:

We're opening our beta today at strawberrybrowser.com

We have limited spots available, so grab yours before they're gone! Our team is here all day - we will respond to all issues, feedback, and cool use cases! 🍓

@sebastian_thunman It doesn't seem to work on Windows 10 Pro (10.0.19045), this one of my dev/test machines. It downloaded and installed but when launched - just a white frame and the control buttons, nothing else, and the strawberry icon in the status bar.

@sebastian_thunman Hey there, how do I get off the waitlist? Would love to try but missed the launch :(

Abdul Rehman

Does Strawberry let you chain multiple companions for different tasks at once?

Joel Edholm

@abod_rehman Yes, you can start several companions for different tasks in separate tabs simultaneously. Does that answer your question? Looking forward to hear what you think when you've tried!

Sebastian Thunman

@abod_rehman you can run several tasks in parallel, and queue as many tasks as you want. either from the same companions or from several different ones. It's a really cool experience actually, just send you companions on some mission and go work in a different tab and wait for them to notify you when they're done

Ruxandra Mazilu

Congrats on the launch! The vision makes total sense, considering where we are right now when it comes to agentic development. Might be a silly question, but I'm curious what guardrails you offer so an agent doesn’t click the wrong thing (like checkpoints, approvals, or a “dry-run” mode before it takes real actions)?

Sebastian Thunman

@ruxandra_mazilu great question! An agent will recognize when it's about to take "high impact" actions and will ask you for approval before following through. This is of course an area we're going to improve on over time as we learn the right balance between autonomy and control. I could imagine a scenario where your companions would learn over time what you're more or less comfortable with, while erring on the safe side. Again, much to explore here, but it's something we really care about!

Frosso Papanastasiou

Sleek design! I used it on a simple use case to extract linkedin analytics to a google sheet - I felt like it took a bit too long which is ok but I would have prefered to have access to the agent's workflow so that I follow its logic, and verify that everything is working as expected!

I have one question: What about our data's privacy?

And congrats for all this work, I will defo keep exploring your other companions!

Ralfs Lagzda

@frosso_pap Same question here. I love the idea but just wondering how much of my private data gets sent to backend.

Joel Edholm

@ralfs_lagzda2 hey! See the answer above :) you enjoy Strawberry so far?

Joel Edholm

@frosso_pap Glad to hear! Thanks for the feedback, keep it coming. Yeah we focus on quality over speed right now, you can always start an agent let it run in the background and do something else until it's done. Regarding privacy, all passwords, chats, history and cookies are all stored locally on your device. Chats are not saved on our servers. Your passwords are never exposed to us or LLM-providers. See our Privacy Policy on website for more information.

Good luck! :)

I think this is a really interesting idea and I'm commenting from the strawberry browser now. First bug I've encountered is that the autocorrect seems to be confined to my system language. I have my system in spanish to practice, but would like my english text to not look like this. Excited to see what I can do with this tool and hoping this gets patched soon

Sebastian Thunman

@alexherman11 thanks for letting us know, we'll look into that! And thanks for the kind words and for trying Strawberry, what use cases did you try?

Olga Scry

very aesthetic and calming design, and these eyes following coursor are so so cute! best of luck, guys

Alexander Woxström

@olga_scry Glad you like it Olga! Which use cases have you tried so far?

Arjun Malhotra
how is it different from comet? btw nice work guys
Sebastian Thunman

@arjunmalhotra  you should try it out and get a feel for it yourself! The biggest difference is that Strawberry is less of an agentic browser and more of an agent building platform, where your agents have access to all your tabs! Try it and let me know what you think!

Arjun Malhotra
@sebastian_thunman sure will try and give feedback all the best 👍🤠
