I built Stay in Touch because I kept forgetting to reach out to people I genuinely care about. Life gets busy, weeks turn into months, and suddenly I'm feeling guilty about relationships that matter to me.
After 15+ years as a software engineer, I decided to finally solve my own problem. I asked friends and colleagues if they struggled too. Turns out I wasn't alone.
My goals were simple:
- Keep it simple and distraction-free
- Offer real value for free
- Privacy first (your data stays on your device)
- Actually use it myself before launching
I've been using the app daily and it's genuinely changed how I stay connected. But I'm not here to build in a vacuum. I want your feedback before I layer on more of my own opinions.
