What code looks like when you wear it

Most developer T-shirts are built around jokes or novelty. This launch takes a different approach, treating developer clothing like a design problem. Each design is inspired by real programming languages and concepts, reduced to minimal references made for everyday wear. Features include language-specific designs, light and dark mode variants, and print-on-demand production to reduce waste. Built as a solo side project by a developer who wanted something quieter.

Hey Product Hunt, I’m John, a long-time developer and the person behind Slash Star. This started as a small side project after realising I’d never actually owned a developer T-shirt I wanted to wear day-to-day. Most of what I found felt loud or novelty-driven, so I wondered what developer T-shirts might look like if they were treated more like design than a joke. Each T-shirt is inspired by real programming languages and concepts, kept intentionally minimal, with “light mode” and “dark mode” variants. Everything is printed on demand to avoid overproduction. I’d really appreciate feedback on the idea, the tone, and the language choices so far — and I’m especially curious which languages or concepts you’d like to see explored next. Thanks for checking it out. — John
