I haven’t come across many other apps like this, which already makes Simple Allergy Alert stand out. The idea is surprisingly unique and fills a real gap.
What I appreciate most is how straightforward and practical it is. Instead of overcomplicating things, it focuses on a clear and important use case—helping people communicate allergies easily, especially when travelling or in unfamiliar situations.
It’s refreshing to see such a simple but impactful solution. Definitely a great concept with real-life value.

This is such a practical travel tool, especially since translations can be wrong. How do you verify the allergen translations for accuracy across different languages?
@thamibenjelloun Hi Thami, thanks for the comment. We use live translation for most of the app, but for a few critical allergen terms, especially in the different forms of Spanish, we rely on a small set of dictionary entries and regional overrides to make the wording more consistent. We can’t guarantee perfect accuracy in every language, so we also include a disclaimer and recommend double-checking locally when possible.
