Congrats on the launch! What’s the difference between the iOS native focus configurations?
yishan song
@danielwchen The biggest difference from iOS’s native Focus feature is the ability to create a pact with yourself. Compared to using a password to restrict access to certain apps, the pact with yourself might have a stronger binding effect.

This sounds really interesting, @yishan_song! I'm curious how the "Pact with yourself" feature actually works in practice. Does it remind you to stay focused at certain intervals, or is it more of a self-tracking thing? Also, how customizable are the Scenes? Can you share any examples of how users have set them up for better productivity? Looking forward to seeing how this app helps with digital distractions!

@star_boat Great questions! The “Pact with yourself” feature is all about helping you stay committed to your goals. It lets you set specific rules or limits for certain apps or activities and gently nudges you if you stray. It’s not just about reminders but more about fostering a sense of accountability. As for Scenes, they’re highly customizable and designed to help you separate different aspects of your life. For example, you can create a “Weekend” Scene where work-related apps are hidden, so you can truly disconnect and enjoy your time off. Conversely, during focused work or study sessions, a “Work Mode” Scene can hide distracting apps like TikTok, helping you stay on track. Right now, this functionality is achieved by hiding apps based on the Scene you’re in, allowing you to stay in the right mindset for whatever you’re doing. I’m excited for you to try it out and see how it helps with managing distractions!

Awesome concept, @yishan_song! The idea of hiding apps in custom "Scenes" is genius—definitely a game changer for my productivity. 👏 I can see a lot of potential for growth here, especially with that Pact feature! Curious, did you utilize any growth hacking tactics during development? Can't wait to try it out and see how it improves my focus. Keep innovating!

Congrats on the launch, @yishan_song! SceneEscape sounds like a game changer for anyone struggling with distractions. The custom “Scenes” feature is really intriguing—finally a way to silence those app temptations! 🙌 And the Pact with yourself idea? Genius! It adds a layer of accountability that’s often missing in traditional productivity tools. I can totally see this appealing to both makers and everyday users looking to boost their productivity. Can't wait to see how this evolves, maybe a freemium model for wider reach? Excited to give it a try and will definitely share my feedback! Keep up the great work!
