@didier_breedt Are there any noticeable performance trade-offs when using this abstraction layer?
@masump Great question. The system relies on Kubernetes in order to assist with getting this abstraction in place, so if you are already running Kubernetes or some form of container orchastration platform, then I would say no. If you are deploying into bare metal then perhaps a tiny amount, however the operational complexity that these abstractions assists with is well worth the performance cost.
I know some still do not believe in running stateful services such as Postgres in such an environment and there may also be performance impacts with this, however personally, I think it's neglagable.
