πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰ Hi guys! Gideon and I, are two brothers originally from Amsterdam. We spent the last two years building the most reliable podcasting tool that grows your audience. πŸ’Έ We are doing a special launch deal for 48 hours with 25% off our plans. πŸ”΄ Problem: It has become increasingly difficult to make your podcast stand out. In 2019 every 2 minutes a new podcast was published. On top of that many podcasts started sounding the same with the same guests and the same format. πŸŽ™οΈ πŸŽ₯ And there is no solution to record your remote podcast with audio and video in studio quality. We wanted to grow our audience and record remotely without compromising on the quality of audio and video. Solution: βœ… 1)Record locally so bad wifi will not affect the quality of your podcast. βœ… 2)πŸ’«πŸ’«Make your podcast stand out. Listeners can call in live with video and ask their questions. You can engage with your audience and receive instant feedback and new ideas for your podcasts. βœ… 3)Separate wav audio tracks for every guest βœ… 4)Grow your reach by live-streaming the recording to Twitch Youtube and Twitter. βœ… 5) You can download both a video AND/OR an audio file of your recording. This way you can distribute your files on Youtube and Spotify or Apple Podcasts. πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ Launch Event πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ To celebrate our launch we are doing three live podcasts with Sahil Lavingia, Justin Jackson and Courtland Allen. The cool thing is YOU can call in with video and ask your questions. We start with Courtland at 10 am PST. Sahil at 2 pm and Justin at 3 pm. We would LOVE to see you call in. Follow us here https://twitter.com/riversidedotfm to get notified when we go live πŸ’Έ We are doing a special launch deal for 48 hours with 25% off our plans. Gideon and I are hanging around here all day to answer any questions you might have.
@nadav21 Awesome work! Looks like you've put together the right set of features into a product.
We use Zencastr for Product Hunt Radio. Other than the addition of video, curious how this compares. πŸ€”
@rrhoover Hi Ryan! We have built a special call in feature so you can engage with your listeners. Listeners can call in to the podcast with video and the host gets a clear overview of incoming calls to accept or decline. And on top of that we support RTMP so you can live stream to Twitter, Facebook and Twitch. Also we saw that a lot of podcasters were able to grow their audience by uploading their video recording to Youtube. Maybe you should try it for the next Product Hunt Radio episode to make it more interactive? You can see how it looks when we go live today with Courtland, Justin and Sahil :)
@rrhoover I just got off a live call with @nadav21, and I'm impressed! As a guest, all you have to do is join via a link (way easier than exchanging Skype handles) and you get some additional benefits (recording video, livestreaming, ability for folks to "call in."). Really neat πŸ‘
@rrhoover @mijustin Thanks Justin! Means a lot coming from you.
Congrats on the launch!
@ftxrc Thanks Sergio You too. Makerlog looks great!
Using riverside.fm for my podcast and has been much better than zencastr.
@1c7_code Hi Cheng that great to hear!
As a podcast host, I can say reliable tooling that allows for audio and video recording at the same time is very much needed. I also love the idea of having guests join! I'll definitely try it out! Great job @nadav21 and team!
@mgreiler Great to hear and thank you for the support!
