Ripple

The anti-meeting app. Solve meetings before they happen.

Ripple is the world’s first anti-meeting app. Our Jams resolve 70 - 90% of meeting topics before you ever get in a room, giving teams hours back every week. When a meeting is needed, Ripple turns it into a short, decisive session - with tasks, owners, decisions, and next steps captured automatically. Teams from consultancies, universities, and startups say Ripple has transformed how they work. Built in New Zealand. Made for teams everywhere.

Trevor McIntyre
Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Trevor - founder of Ripple, and someone who has spent more than 25 years leading teams across South Africa, Ireland, New Zealand, Europe, Asia, and North America. Across every country, every company, and every time zone, I saw the same problem: Work has sped up, but the way we meet hasn’t changed in 40 years. We digitized meetings - but we didn’t redesign them. So we ended up with more meetings, not better ones. More noise, more process, more fatigue. People overwhelmed, burned out, and short on the one thing that truly matters: Time. It is not just my view. Microsoft’s global research shows: • The average employee is interrupted every 2 minutes - about 275 times per day • People receive 117 emails and 153 chat messages daily • Half of all workers say their work feels “chaotic and fragmented” 57% of meetings happen ad-hoc, with 1 in 10 scheduled last-minute • Video fatigue spikes after 30 - 40 minutes, with stress markers rising in back-to-back meetings In other words: The way teams collaborate today is physically, cognitively, and operationally unsustainable. And the meeting has become the center of that problem. I lived that reality - meeting fatigue, evening work on my day job, 3am calls with the East Coast, endless alignment sessions, and no system that helped people think, prepare, or collaborate in a way that matched how humans actually work. Why we built Ripple We have interviewed over 200 global companies, and the themes bear out that collaboration tools just automate the old, broken model. They make meetings easier to schedule - not easier to avoid . They digitize chaos - they don’t solve it. Ripple takes a different path. We built the world’s first anti-meeting app - a Meeting OS designed to give teams back the one resource that is finite and priceless: time. Meet Better: Designed around how humans think People collaborate differently. Some think by talking. Some think by writing. Some need time to process. Traditional meetings privilege one style - fast, loud, synchronous. Ripple’s Jam workflow flips that model. Teams resolve 70–90% of meeting topics asynchronously, in the way that suits their thinking style: • Talk thinkers • Write thinkers • Reflective processors • Deep thinkers Everyone arrives prepared. Only the topics that truly require collaboration become meetings. And those meetings become short, focused workshops - not sprawling discussions. Because everything in Ripple is linked - context, discussion, tasks, recordings, transcripts - knowledge becomes part of the organization's memory, not trapped in people’s heads or lost in a channel. Work Smarter: One cohesive operating system Ripple combines video calls, messaging, tasking, meeting notes, transcription, scheduling, knowledge search, and AI support - not as separate features, but as parts of a unified Meeting Operating System. Where other tools create islands of information, Ripple creates continuity. Where other tools add more noise, Ripple creates clarity. Where other tools cost time, Ripple returns it. The gift of time This is the real outcome Ripple delivers. Teams are gifted back hours of time, every week. Leaders get time back for strategy and thinking. Teams get focus time for deep work. Individuals get to do their best work without burnout. No app can give you back time - except one that redesigns the way time is spent. That’s Ripple’s job. What our users say “Ripple replaced a maze of spreadsheets and manual tracking. What once took hours now takes minutes.” — Vivek Nair, COO, BotGauge (Silicon Valley) “Ripple transformed how my students collaborated. They saved time, reduced stress, and felt more in control.” — Lisa Hirschbeck, Lecturer, University of Victoria (Canada) “Ripple means we arrive prepared, stay focused, and never lose sight of decisions.” — Tim Coughlan, Partner, BDO (Global Top 5 Consultancy) Who Ripple is for Teams who want fewer meetings, clearer decisions, and more time for meaningful work: startups, agencies, hybrid teams, distributed orgs, and leaders who care about impact, not process. We’d love your feedback! We’ll be here all day answering questions, gathering ideas, and learning from this community. Thanks for checking out Ripple - and for joining us in ending the era of unnecessary meetings, giving people back the time to do work that matters. Trevor Ripple was built with ❤️ using Vue 3, Vite, TypeScript, Firestore, Firebase Cloud Functions, Firebase Auth, raw SASS - plus Daily.co, OpenAI, and a lot of coffee.

Brilliant idea. Meetings take out a lot of productivity time from the teams.
Hope this helps out a lot of organizations. Congrats on the launch!

Facts

I was an early adopter of Ripple. I did not realise how much the platform can do, but the more I have used it, the more I have seen its multiple functionalities. Ripple has become my go-to tool - I use it for my work and also to record my garden club minutes.
