Hey Product Hunt! I'm Brent, the solo founder behind Ressup. I built Ressup because I wanted a tool that allowed me to record recipes while I was cooking, and be able to do it hands-free. I also think recipes have value, and the people who create them deserve tools that respect that. Every recipe app I tried wanted my data, or a monthly subscription. I just wanted to cook. Ressup is a one-time purchase. No account, no ads, no tracking. Your recipes stay on your device. It's built for both professionals and home cooks, with menu planning, shopping lists, and hands free Siri integration so you can cook without touching your phone. I built the whole thing as a solo founder using AI-assisted development tools - what would traditionally take a team of 7-10 people and $300-500k was done at a fraction of the time and cost. There's a marketplace coming too. Love a dish from a restaurant you visited on vacation? We're working on a way for them to get that recipe to you for a fair price. I'd love your feedback. Shipped v1.2: Ressup is now available in 7 languages 🌍

Quick milestone update: yesterday I shipped v1.2 of [Ressup](https://www.reciperecorder.com), my privacy-first recipe development app for iPhone and iPad.

The headline addition is a full localization push — the app and App Store metadata are now live in French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, and Hindi. Seven new storefronts, all properly discoverable from day one.

Also in this release:

- Dependent recipes — link recipes together so components (a sauce, a dough, a stock) pull through into the right place automatically

- Plating sketches — rough out how a dish should look on the plate, right inside the recipe

- Updated media manager — better handling of photos and videos across your recipes

- Improved marketplace workflow — the Ressup Marketplace is live (creators keep 90% revenue share); this release smooths out the selling experience ahead of more recipes landing

For anyone who missed the original launch — Ressup is a $4.99 one-time purchase that takes a recipe from raw idea to shareable finished product: voice capture, test kitchen versioning, menu planning with shopping lists, step-by-step cook mode, and PDF/WordPress export — all entirely offline, no account, no subscription, ever.
