Teachers spend 5–15 minutes writing each report card comment. Multiply that by 30 students × 6 subjects = 9–45 hours per grading season. ReportRemarks cuts that down to under 10 minutes per class. Here's how it works: 1. **Import** your class roster via CSV or Google Sheets (auto-maps your columns) 2. **Generate** — add performance notes, pick your tone, and get a full batch of comments 3. **Edit & Export** — review scores from our Comment Quality Engine, make edits in a grid, export to DOCX/PDF

Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I built ReportRemarks after watching teacher friends spend entire weekends writing report card comments — 50, 100, sometimes 150+ of them, all needing to be individualized, professional, and constructive.
The tool started as a weekend project to help one friend and turned into something used across K-12 classrooms.
A few things I'm proud of:
- The Comment Quality Engine — it's not just "did AI generate something?" but "is this comment actually useful to parents and students?" It flags missing evidence, generic phrases, and tone mismatches.
- Teacher Voice Profiles — upload a few of your own past comments and the system extracts your patterns and incorporates them. The output sounds like *you*, not a robot.
- No subscription model — teachers told me they needed it 2-3 times a year, not every month. So it's one-time credit packs, valid 180 days.
Would love your feedback. Happy to answer any questions! 🙏
