Hey everyone, Shawn here. I built Release Sanity. Lately it feels like pull requests are getting bigger and bigger. AI coding tools make it easy to generate large chunks of code, which means reviewers often have to go through massive diffs just to understand what actually changed. I started building Release Sanity as a small experiment to help with that. It analyzes the PR diff and posts a structured release risk summary directly on the pull request. It highlights sensitive areas like auth changes, API updates, billing logic, migrations, and deployment config. Think of it as a quick release safety signal on every PR. It also adds a short release readiness checklist so reviewers can quickly sanity check important areas before merging. The goal isn't to replace code review. It is just a quick signal to help teams catch risky changes that might be buried in large diffs. It's free while in beta. Read-only GitHub app. No CI setup.
