Thanks for the hunt Kevin! At ProductFlare we noticed there was a disconnect between what your customers want, what your product team thinks they want and what is actually getting built. ProductFlare is the glue between customer, product and engineering saving you thousands of dollars and a lot of time by making sure you always build things users want, and know exactly who in your team is working on it. Feel free to drop us any questions!

@sendpilot1 Congrats on the launch! I really like how you are combining the three different areas together and cut down communication friction. Great stuff. In your experience, what's a good way to set expectations with customers on which ideas will likely get built and which ones probably won't?
Reece
@alvinhung Thanks Alvin! Yeah we found lots of companies forget that to build a solid product customers, product teams and engineering need to be aligned to prevent disappointment. We use statuses for that! So you can create statuses for your roadmap so for us we use 'In Review 🤔', 'Planned 🔥' and 'Up Next 🎉'. Within each status on the roadmap each Feature card is sorted by demand (upvotes) and you can indicate how important it is to you for prioritzation. Then, whenever the product team move it along the pipeline everyone that wanted it gets notified! It's a great way to boost customer retention, but also set expectations. You can also set estimated releases dates for a feature to display publicly if you want to.

I've worked with @reecelyons8 before when this product was called AnnounceFly. We together managed to get into YC's interview rounds and got some amazing feedback. Since then, Reece has acted on that feedback and that's how ProductFlare emerged. It's an amazing product for SaaS companies to manage their product management and keep their customers involved throughout the product development journey. Keep it up! 🎉🚀

Hey ?makers , can you help me? I don't get it. What's the difference between ProductFlare and Canny ? Thanks
Reece
@david_levai Lots of differences - we're an end to end product management tool with customer roadmaps, changelog widgets, drag/drop kanban boards for product management, feature assigning to your team, feature level attachments, notes and release planning, Jira/Github pushing and more! We're more of a ProductBoard type tool but with the added benefit of syncing what's on your roadmap with your product team's workflow.

UI looks really great, look forward to trying it out! Did a quick run through your landing page too and left some thoughts here in context, focusing in particular on the importance of social proof, hope it helps - https://app.usebubbles.com/7179c...
Reece
