Hey Product Hunt! I'm Sid, and I'm super excited to launch Prefix here today. I built this after working a variety of gigs near "non-technical" teams at larger organizations, and running into a ton of repetitive work on older business software. After writing my fair share of custom automation scripts, I eventually gave up and looked through a variety of tools online to find something my colleagues would actually be able to use at scale. While my search turned up a ton of awesome API-based integration tools (e.g. connect Slack to Jira to Twitter to Shopify to ...), there were surprisingly few that could automate the legacy apps we were using (Oracle BI??). Prefix is my attempt at setting as low a skill cap as possible for folks to start building custom automations at their business where there are complicated problems and no clean A-to-B "Zapier" integrations. I hope by doing so we'll be able to bring automation to more organizations than ever before, and help folks feel happier about the work they get to focus on instead along the way.

Very cool product. Makes very complicated processes seem extremely simplified and accessible to many more people. Congrats on the launch!

Love that you can do it from the same screen you're working on!

Slick ui! I can imagine the connector logic builder from the video allows for emergent complexity without business processes becoming a tangled mess. Would like to try this out sometime in the future. Congrats on the hard work.
