PocketCorder
Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I'm Shingo, the maker of PocketCorder.
I've been a developer for many years, and ever since the first iPhone came out, I've always had this wish: "I want to do some development work on my smartphone."
Whether I'm lounging in bed 🛌, at a cafe ☕️, or on the train 🚃, I wanted a way to check my running processes or monitor AI agents without being glued to my desk.
That's why I built PocketCorder. It's not just a remote desktop app; it's optimized for developer workflows.
Key Features:
⚡️ Low Latency: Smooth control over Wi-Fi or Cloudflare Tunnel.
🔘 Command Shortcuts: Register frequently used commands and run them with a single tap.
🎯 App Focus Mode: View only the specific window you need (like Terminal or VS Code).
📲 Easy Setup: Connect instantly just by scanning a QR code.

It's a one-time purchase (no subscriptions!), and you can try it for free.
I'd love to hear your feedback! How would you use your Mac from your pocket?
Thanks!
@iritec_jp its cool. will try it

@vilas_magare Thank you!

@theo_crewe_read
Thank you so much! 🙏
Here's how it works
Download both apps - Mac app and smartphone app (Android/iOS)
Launch the Mac app
Scan the QR code with your phone
That's it! You're connected 🎉
Once connected, your Mac screen streams to your phone in real-time, and you can control it with touch gestures. Perfect for monitoring AI coding agents from the sofa! 🛋️

This is really fun. I think this will be really handy when you have to run a process during the nights and you are sleepy. But you can check and control from your bed.

How many people want the Windows version?
Wow, PocketCorder looks amazing! The one-tap command shortcuts are a game changer. How does the Cloudflare Tunnel handle different network configurations?
PocketCorder
@jaydev13 Thank you! Glad you like the one-tap shortcuts! 🎉
About Cloudflare Tunnel:
The great thing is — it works on almost any network without special configuration:
- No port forwarding needed — the tunnel creates an outbound connection from your Mac to Cloudflare, so it works behind NAT, firewalls, and most routers
- No static IP required — the tunnel URL handles everything
- Works on mobile data — connect from anywhere, even on cellular/4G/5G
- No VPN needed — just scan the QR code and you're connected
Basically, if your Mac can access the internet, the tunnel will work. Just install cloudflared, enable "External Connection" in settings, and you're good to go!

Can you connect to your desktop when it's in a sleeping mode?
PocketCorder
@pasha_tseluyko No, you cannot connect while Mac is fully asleep.
However, with the right settings, you can keep your Mac always accessible:
Recommended Setup:
- Go to System Settings → Lock Screen/Battery
- Set "Turn display off" after a few minutes
- Set "Prevent automatic sleeping when plugged in" → ON
This keeps your Mac awake with only the display off. You can then connect anytime and unlock remotely!
For access outside your home (mobile/cellular):
Enable Cloudflare Tunnel in PocketCorder settings. No port forwarding or VPN needed.
