Hey there, Product Hunt! 👋 It’s Sergey, CEO of Planyway, and I’m beyond thrilled to share something we’ve been working on for quite a while: Planyway for Jira 2.0. This new version is a product of not just hard work, but also listening closely to what you — the users — really need to make project management in Jira smoother and more efficient. For anyone who’s ever had to juggle multiple Jira projects, deal with complicated timelines, or struggle to get a clear view of their team’s workload (been there!), this is for you. Here's what makes Planyway for Jira 2.0 special: 📁 Project Portfolio: Keep an eye on all your projects in one clear, visual timeline. 👫 Team Workload View: Know who's overloaded and who's free at a glance. 📅 Team Calendar: Stay updated with team events and deadlines in a shared calendar. ⏰ Time Tracking: Log hours spent on tasks to improve your team's efficiency. 📊 Advanced Reports: See how your projects are tracking, compare estimates, and gain insights. 👥 Who It’s For I’ve spent years working in IT and project management myself, so I get the daily challenges of trying to keep projects, teams, and deadlines in sync. Planyway for Jira 2.0 is for people like us—project managers, team leads, and product owners—who want a visual and intuitive way to manage everything without drowning in spreadsheets or endless Jira tickets. 🛤 Our Story Planyway started because we wanted to make project management easier. I remember the first time I realized we could do better by adding a visual timeline to our daily task lists—it was a game-changer! Since then, our team has been obsessed with making Planyway better. With Jira 2.0, we’ve built on that original idea and added all the features that will make managing projects for bigger teams even more intuitive. We didn’t just build this in isolation—we’ve been talking to you, our users, every step of the way. This version is a direct result of the feedback you’ve shared with us, and we’re so excited for you to try it. 🎯 Why We’re Here on Product Hunt I’m not just here to launch a product—I’m here to hear from YOU. Your feedback is what helped us build Planyway into what it is today, and it’s what will make it even better. So tell us—what do you like? What could we do better? Any new features you'd love to see? 💥 Special Launch Offer for Product Hunt! To celebrate our launch here, we’re offering a special 20% discount for the Product Hunt community for the first year. Just for you early supporters, because we genuinely appreciate your insights and ideas. Thanks so much for being part of this journey with us! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts. Warmly, Sergey

Thank you, @hamza_afzal_butt! Reminders are perfectly done with Jira, but if you schedule something with Planyway, there is seamless integration and you'll get notifications too.

Indeed such a needed extension. And love the gantts! Did you build them from scratch? Or what library is it?
Sergey Koshevoy
@jalcantara Thank you for your comment! Yes, everything is built from scratch. We first made it for Trello and then moved it to Jira.
Jorge Alcántara
@koshevoysergey nice! I’d love to get my hands on that gantt at least, we’re not on jira but the interactivity and style are 👌

Been using the old version since our last project turned into a 'who's working on what again?' mess. The workload view is exactly what I needed - got 3 designers juggling 5 projects and keeping track in Jira alone was giving me gray hairs. Quick q - can it handle resource planning across different time zones? Got team members in Europe and Asia and our current setup is... let's just say there's been some interesting 3 AM meetings 😅
Sergey Koshevoy
@thealisoneyo not yet unfortunately, it works in the single time zone now, but that's definetly the thing to think about

Congrats on the new release! Planyway 2.0 looks awesome. It has everything we need to manage our Jira workflows better. What's your favorite new feature?
Sergey Koshevoy
@ihuzaifashoukat Thanks a lot! I love the workload, hope it will bring lots of value to the users.

Big congrats on the launch of Planyway 2.0 and the new Jira integration! 🥳 The Trello Power-Up was already awesome, but this update really takes Jira to the next level. I’m sure it’s going to make a huge difference for everyone using it. Can’t wait to see how it all goes. Keep up the fantastic work!
