Why did I build this?
As someone who’s curious about global economics (and often shopping or comparing salaries internationally!), I found it frustrating how raw currency conversions don’t tell the full story. A $1 coffee in New York is not the same as a $1 coffee in Bangkok! So I created Parity Calculator to solve this problem using Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) a fairer way to compare prices, salaries, and costs of living between countries.
