I welcome your questions, feedback, or ideas with open arms and am excited to collaborate. Together, let's advance the state of SaaS development.
Looks really cool Juan, I'm going to try whipping up a quick nextJS project with it this weekend. I can give you more detailed feedback once that's done. Thanks for the hardwork!
@shnksi thank you, that would be awesome <3
Any feedback or comments are really appreciated :D
I believe the documentation right now have all you would need to start, but if you have a roadblock or something like that, feel free to let me know and I can take a look.
@vumanhcuongit of course, that’s excellent question.
From my experience, starting a new SaaS venture requires velocity and adaptability.
Having a monolith in the first phases makes sense for that purpose.
Next.js lets me create a full stack app, is designed to scale properly and when the revenue and users comes, it’s possible to split in other architecture (like “traditional” backend for frontend).
More about this: https://open-micro-saas-docs.ver...
Using react alone would required me to create a backend.
The more the codebases to maintain, the more the costs and complexity (deploys, team communication). Of course, the advantages are even more scalability and tech stack independence, but in a bootstrapped or a new startup venture, I believe that is not important right away.
The most important is to bring value quickly and iterate.
What do you think?
