So much more than just a project management tool. Our team uses DaPulse almost exclusively for all facets of communication and collaboration.

Pros:

My definition of an agile tool. Combines all that my team needs in one place.

Cons:

I've used others and can't think of a con.

Order out of Chaos

Tested Monday side by side with other project and task management tools for a distributed software development and business team. Everyone loved using it, but it still required significant manual intervention to maximize effectiveness. Perhaps the newer automation tools will help.

Pros:

Simplicity and visual nature of project management

Cons:

Lacks some advanced features and integration between projects that would make it more friendly to advanced users.

This company has a nasty habit of email spamming new users, which has led me to decry the software to my colleagues. Let your product speak for itself, don't assault your new users in an attempt to accomplish relevance. Additionally, the software did not stand out to me beyond current options on the market – you can't compete on features in a red ocean. I do not recommend Monday to anyone.

They did really a good Job! Fair Pricing, superfast Support (which for us is always the key to buy a product) and nice features. PROs: too many to mention all of them. CON: if you have Board with different Groups, you can't just edit or add a column to only one Group. It will affect all the groups. I definitely recommend it (and I used also other PM-Tools like Jira, Trello or Wrike)

I would try it if you work in a small team where you need together to make a plan with multiple tasks

Pros:

Easy to use, I like the color tags

Cons:

Takes some time to fill the tags

I've chosen Monday.com among its competitors and now I'm completely satisfied. One thing I changed - I'd added TMetric time tracking app which easily integrates with Monday.com. These two works smoothly, I advise everyone to try use it. https://tmetric.com/integrations...

My friend recommended Monday.com to me and I adopted it for one of my startups. No regrets :) Love how it works and that it can also connect to TMetric https://tmetric.com/integrations...

@max_scott TMetric is definitely a helpful choice for tracking time per Monday tasks.

🔎 A11y and Sustainability
Monday.com is good for small groups on the free version at a slow pace, but I also think it quickly teaches lessons of why the group might want to look for something else. The drag and drop is nice, but I also become concerned about security and longevity of materials that get thrown on there. Without having a project manager, it's easy to lose track of all the moving parts. As someone else mentioned, the emails are irritating, and the inbox tends not to show me tasks that I actually need to see or too much of what I don't. I am not a fan of the branding, since Monday in notes can be misinterpreted as the day of the week. And monday.com could become a link. Which leads me to Monday Dot Com or something. A small thing but also a reason I avoid talking about it. If you already have a project management workflow going, test this tool in a small group of folx before rolling it out to all your team members, as it can put a real dent in things if you force the transition into some workflows.
