Reviews

  • Pros:

    Free and Pretty Quick!

    Cons:

No Customisations for Device Orientation and Frame Type (except colors). for Tablets and PCs. Backdrops too should be Customisable .

I am eagerly waiting for updates! Apart from Design updates, you can also give feature to SAVE custom templates.

  • Pros:

Easy and goes to the point, minimalist, maybe a bit too much.

    Cons:

different devices sizes, models, I should have to upload the correct size to not have to stretch the image.

Could you have an export for iTunes Connect / Play Store button with the correct sizes and all devices ?!

Hi Product Hunt 👋 When I'm working on designs for our mobile app, I often want to share them with my coworkers in a presentation. But, just having a simple screenshot is too bland. I've tried other apps like PlaceIt (https://www.producthunt.com/post...) but sometimes I just want to be able to create the screenshots for free, in a snap! I would sometimes do this in Google Slides, but it would take forever to line up the image and make sure that it was sized correctly. And one wrong click and everything would get messed up. I wanted something like Screely (https://www.producthunt.com/post...) - really simple with a tasteful background, that would work in just a few clicks. But I needed it to work for my mobile app screenshots! So to solve these problems, I made the Mobile Mockup Maker. Just choose a screenshot from your computer, and it will automatically place it within the mobile frame. You can also specify a color for the background, as well as the phone frame. It only takes a few clicks! Huge shoutout to @jurn_w for the inspiration with Screely. What an awesome product. Hope you all like it - let me know what you think! Eric

Love everything Eric and Julia make! Quick suggestion, can you support more devices? For example, took a screenshot from my iPhone X and it does not look good at the moment no matter what I do. Would be great if I could just select the device that the screenshot came from and have it look great without any futzing around with cropping or fitting or stretching or whatever. Thanks! Keep up the good work.

@realericlu Adding more device types would help, especially iPhoneX

Its really useful Eric...kind of reminds me of screely..do you have plans to add more device types? Also the bright background looks good with dark shadows like the green one..but the red one looks a bit off with the light shadow

@realericlu a macbook and and Ipad to start with I guess also try the dark shadow through out all the background...I saw the shadows are a bit random....light shadows kinda making the device's edge seem blurry.

Simple but too limited. Will not be useful for me.

@oleg_avrah hi Oleg! Thanks for the feedback. Could you share what features it would need to make it more useful?

@realericlu Different devices mockups (iPhone, Android phone, Tablet). Possibility to add some text. This is very basic stuff I need to create some promo.
