Everyone hates meetings—so fix it! Miter guides you to great meetings with our research-backed workflow, and skips the Agenda Theater. Establish clear purpose, facilitate like a pro, and track the summary & action items afterward. Your team will thank you.

Dave Feldman
Hello, Product Hunt! 🐈 Dave here, founder & CEO of Miter, alongside our team and my trusty cat Cami (https://miter.co/cami). We’re so excited to share Miter with you—especially our brand-new Dynamics. (OK, actually Cami’s outside chasing hummingbirds but the *rest* of us are excited.) Miter was born from outrage. 😡 In a world where we optimize, disrupt, reinvent, and retrospect *everything,* we’ve given up on meetings—and then we spend our entire lives in them. It’s nuts. As we dug into the research, we started to understand—and our outrage grew 💥. Because all the advice, books, consultants, and apps trying to help with meetings are actually making things worse. Agendas don’t make better meetings. Timekeeping doesn’t make better meetings. Shorter meetings aren’t better. Async meetings aren’t better. Video isn’t better than a phone call. Nobody reads transcripts. And you’re not gonna stop that guy who talks the whole time by telling him he’s talking the whole time 🤫. Miter is different. We started with the research and built a workflow that guides you to better meetings. We focus on *goals*, not empty Agenda Theater. On *facilitating*, not just recording. On *outcomes* and their lives beyond the meeting, not producing docs nobody’s going to read. Our new Dynamics (just launched! 🎉) put advanced facilitation within everybody's reach. Just grab the Dynamic you need for the conversation you want to have, and we’ll take care of it while you actually *participate.* Miter works where you are: on the web, in GCal via our Chrome extension, inside Zoom via our Zoom app. Use us in virtual meetings, in person, or hybrid. For 1:1s, team meetings, or one-offs. We think Miter is a better way to meet. We hope you do, too, and we want to hear about it! We’re just at the beginning of our journey and you have unprecedented opportunity to shape the future of Miter. Take it for a spin and let us know what you think! And, thanks. 🙏

@dfeldman Great work! This will make planning online meetings far more efficient. Will definitely be downloading it. Congratulations on the launch!
Dave Feldman
@alcaan Fantastic! Thanks for the support and let us know what you think of the product! You can hit me up on Twitter (dfeldman or meetwithmiter) with any feedback.
Shawn Mclean
@dfeldman my cofounder @dwaynesamuels introduced this to us and kept telling us to use it. I noticed his meeting skills also went up. I loved reading this statement because, during my 10+ years in remote companies, I can relate to everything you mentioned. Most of these meeting tools are theatrics. These things should be integrated more deeply into the technology itself and remove the cognitive load required. I'm interested in seeing how you guys tackle this space. Good start!
Dave Feldman
@dwaynesamuels @shawn_mclean Thanks so much for the incredibly kind words—and I'm so glad what we're doing resonates with you. As you use the product, I'd love to hear your feedback on what's working and what's not. Feel free to hit me up on Twitter (dfeldman) or join our Slack channel (https://miter.co/users-slack).
Josh McBride
I've been an early user of Miter and love the meeting structure it provides, as well a clean documentation of decisions and action items. Congrats Damian and team!
Damian Wisniewski
@joshmcbride Thanks, Josh! Really appreciate it!
Dave Feldman
@joshmcbride Thanks for the praise! I'd love to hear your feedback as an early user—both on the product overall and on the new Dynamics feature. Hit me up on Twitter (dfeldman) or join our users channel on Slack (https://miter.co/users-slack).
Cass Sapir
Better, more productive, more enjoyable meetings. This is a must have product, especially for large organizations where meetings are a way of life.
Dave Feldman
@cass_sapir Thanks so much for the kind words.

@cass_sapir Thanks so much, Cass!

Giuseppe Di Nuccio
Hi Dave and Damian, I totally agree with your research and the pain points you highlighted regarding the meeting handling, which we all as workers face every day. Also because I founded a real-time live captioning app to address some of the same issues you pointed out (therefore it resonates a lot :)). I like a lot your solution because it moves in the direction of a new way of working and a new approach that we have to consider: meetings are part of our schedule, and the features are definitely helpful. A couple of additional feedback: - do you plan for future support/compatibility with other applications (e.g. MS Teams, Skype, webex, etc.)? - a key role can be for sure played by AI in many other functionalities: the intelligent summary after the meeting (that you already have), but also the prediction before the meeting is a crucial area (e.g. analysis of previous meetings data, level of participation from the different attendees, the relevance of the comments made by each participant, etc. are all training data that can be used). - automatic real-time suggestions provided during the meetings (still AI-drive). Congrats again! Best, Giuseppe
Dave Feldman
@giuseppe_di_nuccio Thanks for the thoughtful feedback! (And keep it coming.) - Expanded integrations: Absolutely. The MS ecosystem is already on the roadmap, and we expect to add others over time. It's important for Miter to be part of people's meeting workflow from beginning to end. - Expanded AI & real-time suggestions: Yes! We've got a *ton* of ideas along these lines, like real-time outcome suggestions to predictive analytics to attendee assistance. Stay tuned!
Damian Wisniewski
@giuseppe_di_nuccio @dfeldman Yeah we're excited to take on the MS ecosystem in particular. If there are any teams willing to pilot with us once we're ready, please reach out!

I was lucky to get an early demo of Miter, and it's a product that I think is going to fundamentally change how meetings and knowledge-sharing happen, especially inside a culture that is increasingly remote-first. Thrilled to see this launch!
Dave Feldman
@phildini Thanks so much! Your comment very much reflects our long-term goals—meetings were a real problem *before* so much work shifted remote, and as we move into an increasingly hybrid world the problem will just keep getting worse. We need tools that can help us tackle those challenges, and that's what Miter is all about.
