Autocomplete in Google Docs/Calendar (and Gmail) often shows lookalike contacts, making it easy to share or invite the wrong person. MentionFix fixes that with simple visual cues: you mark emails as Trusted or Blocked, and we color-code those suggestions directly in Google’s dropdowns. Highlighting runs locally in your browser.

Hey Product Hunt! I built MentionFix after repeatedly seeing Google’s autocomplete suggest multiple similar contacts (sometimes lookalike emails) in Docs/Calendar/Gmail and realizing how easy it is to click the wrong one and accidentally share/invite the wrong person. MentionFix is intentionally simple: you maintain a list of Trusted and Blocked emails, and we color-code those suggestions right inside Google’s dropdown. It doesn’t change Google’s ranking, it just makes the right choice obvious. I’d love your feedback: what would make this a must-have for you? Stronger visuals, a “confirm external email” step, team policies/sync, something else? 🙌
