The notch is the one bit of my Mac I never look at, which is probably why this would land on me. The Mac apps I work on taught me reminders get muted by day 3. Does she back off when I'm on a call?

@yelyzaveta_kibets Yeah reminders are hard to follow that's why I think this will be fun with the default reminders. And so far I haven't felt like turning it off but let's see.
And we can manually pause it but automatic one make sense too. Will work on it :)

@rahulmfg Manual pause is a solid stopgap. Automatic detection would be the difference between an app people keep and one they mute by day 3.

I've known Rahul for a while and one of the things I admire about him is how he builds products for himself and ships them to the public. Maaa is a clear example of that.
Also lately he is killing it with building in public. Install Maaa and don't skip a thing :)

The 12-language thing is a nice touch most menu bar reminder apps skip entirely. Genuinely curious how it decides when to nag though - is it purely a timer, or does it try to notice you've been heads-down for a while before it interrupts? The apps that get this wrong just become another notification you dismiss on reflex.

@rahulmfg makes sense as a starting point - schedule keeps it predictable and activity stops it from nagging mid-task. curious if the schedule side is user-configurable per language/timezone, or fixed defaults you tuned on your own routine.
